Technology has advanced considerably in the field of robotics and there are those who consider robots an important part of our progress into the future.

The British company Geomiq is working on designing prototypes and products that also go into this field. Now the company wants to go one step further and is offering 116,000 euros to anyone who gives up the rights to their face for life, as reported by La Vanguardia.

The chosen face must be "friendly and amiable", as it will become the face worn by a large number of the robots that will be produced. The aim is for it to act as a "virtual friend" for older people and for them not to feel alone.

The project has been in development for 5 years, according to the prototype designer himself, and production is expected to start next year. Thanks to the independent VC (Venture Capital) investor funds as well as a superior fund based in Shanghai, the company has been able to move forward with the stages of the established plan.

The company did not want to reveal more details about the selection process but those candidates who pass the initial phase will be contacted and will receive more information about the project.
